Connecting with a Cell Phone or Wireless Device

It is possible to dial-up to our server by connecting your computer to a cell phone instead of an analog phone line, but only under the following conditions:

  • You need to have data service enabled with your wireless provider. If you are not sure whether you have this service, ask your wireless provider if you have the ability to send faxes.
  • You need a cable or other means of connecting your computer to the cell phone (e.g. BlueTooth).
  • You need to install and configure a modem driver on your computer for your cell phone.
  • You must be able to maintain a strong signal when connected.
